Carlos Raposo Impecável Touriga Nacional Rosé DOC Dão 2024
A rosé of Touriga Nacional — 100% of the Dão's queen red grape, pressed pale and dry. Fresh, fruity and elegant, with the balance and gastronomy that runs through the whole Impecável range, and, unusually for a rosé, genuine ageing potential.
The fruit comes from 30–50 year-old vineyards in Terras de Senhorim, on granite soils. Hand-harvested, whole-bunch selected and gently pressed in the pneumatic press, then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel with malolactic and six months' ageing in tank before bottling — no wood.
An open, elegant pink. Fresh and fruity, with red fruits to the fore, good structure and balanced acidity; the finish is long and gently balsamic. Delicious young, but with the precision to develop complexity over time.

Impecável is the Dão range from Carlos Raposo's World Wild Wines — pure, elegant, gastronomic wines built to celebrate good food and good company. Raposo, born in the Dão, trained seven years in Bordeaux and Burgundy before nearly a decade making the icons at Niepoort (Batuta, Coche, Redoma Reserva); these are his own wines, from 30–50 year-old vineyards on the region's granite soils, made without wood so the fruit and the place speak clearly.
