Domaine de Souch Jurançon 'Cuvee Monplaisir' 2022
Domaine de Souch Cuvée Monplaisir Jurançon Sec 2022 is a vibrant and elegant dry white wine from the prestigious Jurançon appellation in South West France. Produced in the foothills of the Atlantic Pyrenees, this biodynamic wine showcases the freshness, purity and aromatic intensity of the Manseng grape varieties that have made Jurançon one of France's most distinctive white wine regions.
Founded by the pioneering Yvonne Hegoburu, Domaine de Souch has been farmed biodynamically since 1994 and is recognised as one of the benchmark estates of Jurançon. The vineyards are planted on steep, south-facing slopes overlooking the Pyrenees and the Pic du Midi d'Ossau, where the combination of altitude, sunshine and unique soils produces wines of remarkable character and balance.
Cuvée Monplaisir is crafted from equal parts Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng, offering a fresher and more approachable expression of Jurançon Sec while retaining the texture, complexity and ageing potential for which the region is renowned.
