Description

Blend of a majority of Gros Manseng completed in stainless steel vats. Good introduction to the Domaine’s dry whites.

With a saline and slightly smoky aromatic profile, it is pleasant from its early youth. These are very versatile gastronomic wines which can be enjoyed as a cheese aperitif and
will pair perfectly with creamed poultry, chicken with onions, veal blanquette, sweet and savory dishes, cheese
and fruit desserts such as apple pie

“Gros manseng and Petit manseng. Nice name for a wine. Wool jumper, cornflakes, pineapple and lime marmalade, fennel fronds. Fresh cut slightly under-ripe pineapple and lemon, juicy but with bite, ripe lime juice acidity and chalky texture, and a ripcord of tang through the finish. Excellent energy. Something different, and very good.” – 93 Points, Gary Walsh, The Wine Front.
