Pale lemon yellow a brilliant green tinge. The refreshing aromas of grapefruit, white peach, pear and white flowers, commingled with those of ripe fruits such as melon and lychee, and complexity and depth to the wine. On the palate, pleasant acidity with a mellow attack. Concentrated fruits expand on the palate, giving impression of body. The finish is lingering with supple acidity. A well-balanced wine with a delicate but refreshing taste and rich fruit

Description
Grace insist on using grapes grown above 400m in making Grace Koshu.
In the vineyards, in order to reduce the effects of autumn rain, every bunch is covered with a shade (umbrella) and picked at optimal maturity. The grapes will then undergo long gentle pressing.
Our familiarity with the characteristics of the grape variety, individual districts and plots enables us to express Katsunuma’s sense of place.

THE WINEFRONT – GARY WALSH

A little struck match, green pear and skin, raw almond. Green pear, slight lemon peel bitterness, cool acidity, a savoury element, and a skinsy finish of good length. Nice.
