It’s a tribute wine to Lois Mills and it’s very, seriously good. Price is a guesstimate; it could be a bit north or south of this.
This is the full biscuit. Seriously, regardless of price, get yourself a bottle of this, and drink it. It’s heady, it’s stately, it has remarkable spread and it generally feels a class above. It tastes of honey, lime, river stones and stonefruit, essentially, though bacon and earth, blackcurrant bud and mandarin characters flash like phosphorescence throughout. It’s at a beautiful stage of its development, perfect by my way of thinking, in that it inhabits the joy of youth and the glory of age, simultaneously. This is the kind of wine we think of when we think of a wine we might love. Quod erat demonstrandum: lovers of wine will love this wine.
